I love near future action stories filled with futuristic weapons and aircraft where the hero faces relentless forces and perseveres against incredible odds.

My name is Bruce Landay, and I write military political techno-thrillers. As a former Air Force officer, I bring an authentic vibe to my military characters, their mission focus, and internal motivation to defend their core principles and their country.

I believe that to look at ourselves in the mirror, we must do the right thing, even when it’s hard.

I believe we should treat every person with dignity, respect, and absolute fairness, even when others consider them less than human and treat them horribly.

I believe that having enough is sufficient. Pursuing endless greed and acquiring more than I can ever spend is a terrible waste when so many are barely surviving.

I want my stories to resonate with my readers, causing them to reflect on their own lives and actions at a deep personal level long after the last page is turned.

My first novel, Electromagnetic Assault, is scheduled for publication in April 2026. I currently publish a weekly email newsletter on Substack, Future Trends and Science Fiction 

Following my time as a US Air Force Officer stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia as part of the 1st Fighter Wing, I had a 35 year career working for manufacturing companies in global supply chain and IT roles. I had the pleasure of working with professional colleagues from all over the world and traveling to multiple European countries, as well as Mexico, Dominican Republic, and China.

I’m currently a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and have attended the largest airshow in the world, AirVenture multiple times in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I live with my wife in Madison, Wisconsin and recently retired, I’m following my passion for storytelling.
